The A-LEAP programme is designed to assess public officers, at the Grade 54 of the management and professional scheme, for their leadership competencies. This 5 days course comprises of lectures and evaluation sessions and aims to identify competencies expected from the officers, when promoted to serve at a higher grade, i.e. JUSA (Jawatan Utama Sektor Awam).

The evaluation sessions conducted during the programme will assess strategic management, problem solving, decision-making, creativity and innovativeness, analytical and critical thinking and communication competencies among others suitable with the roles and responsibilities of those officers serving in the Top Management Group.
